TNCC is the trauma nurse core curriculum course, and this is a good certification to have for anyone who deals with trauma patients. TCRN is a professional certification like CEN (you can include it in your credentials), TNCC is an educational certificate. Some time is recommended, but not required. The CCRN would be helpful if you want to do flight nursing but if you want to do that you should probably look at cross-training to the ICU anyway.
